About the competition and the organizers
The Pendim Percussion Competition was founded in 1999 in order to enable participants to compete, contact and exchange performing and pedagogical experience and innovative ideas in the interpretation of music of different styles and genres. In practice, this creates conditions both for the establishment of young instrumentalists and for raising the level of professional musical art. A concert of the jury members is planned during the competition.
